World’s Best Train Journey?

Sometimes words just don’t do a thing justice. That’s how I feel about the stunning train journey we took a few months back in Sri Lanka. It was a 2 hour train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella, and it was, quite simply, magnificent. If beautiful scenery is your thing, then spend a few minutes and check out this video I made of our experience. Oh yeah, the music is wonderful too.

The World’s Best Train Journey? If you’ve taken a better one, I would love to hear about it in the comments, and add it to my travel bucket list.

Hi Steve, James and I took that exact same train journey and thought it was fantastic. Really enjoyed your video. So are you and Leslie in Mexico now? We’ve been traveling the Balkans for the past several weeks – fascinating place. You never said too much about your time in Korea – how was it? Say hi to Leslie. All the best, Terri
